Instructor/Assistant Professor, Music Industries & Production

We seek qualified candidates for a full‑time faculty position in Music Industry & Production, beginning Fall 2026. This position may be filled as either a non‑tenure‑track Instructor or a tenure‑track Assistant Professor.

Responsibilities are not listed in this posting, but applicants should be prepared to develop and deliver courses in music recording, music entrepreneurship, and related areas, and to contribute to the department’s teaching mission.

Qualifications:

• At least one year of experience teaching in higher education.
• Effective teaching and mentorship.
• Mastery of a woodwind instrument preferred.
• Experience in commercial music, sound design, music recording, music technology, music entrepreneurship, and/or other non‑traditional career models also preferred.
