Position Summary
Part‑time adjunct faculty teaching photography courses online or on‑campus. Credit‑hour limits: 8 summer, 12 fall, 12 spring. Salary commensurate with experience and education. The position is subject to telework options that may change based on business needs.
Responsibilities
- Deliver instruction for courses including Alternative Photographic Processes, Basic Photography, Commercial Photography, Digital Film Editing and Post Production, Digital Photography II, Electronic Darkroom, Film Production I & II, History of Photography, Introduction to Digital Photography, Nature Photography, Screenwriting, Studio Lighting I & II, and Wildlife Photography.
- Utilize instructional technologies to facilitate engaging learning experiences.
- Assist the agency or state government in emergencies if required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the department.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in photography or a related field, with at least 18 graduate‑semester hours of coursework in photography.
- Prior teaching experience at the postsecondary level.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to use instructional technologies.
- No supervised employees, no required travel.
Additional Considerations
- Operation of a state vehicle not required.
- No required travel.
