A Little About This Position

• The Snow Reporter’s primary responsibility is to provide daily snow conditions and operational messaging to our guests and employees.
• This includes the creation and distribution of the daily snow and weather report, writing and recording messages and assistance to the social media team.
• Supports the Marketing Team with internal and external marketing campaigns, strategies, events and general mountain information.
• Supports the guest service team, by providing relevant resort information and assists in product sales lift tickets, season passes, and lessons.

Requirements

• College degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications or journalism.
• Minimum of one year experience in public relations, communications or media relations.
• Basic knowledge of online programming and social media.Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Must be available to work flexible hours, including start times as early as 5:30am and weekends/holidays.
• Strong writing skills mandatory.
• Intermediate skiing or snowboarding ability.
• Knowledge of ski area operations and the resort industry is helpful.

Hourly pay rate: $22.77 to $24.58.
