Copilot Studio Developer

Location: St. Paul, Minnesota (Remote option available)

Experience: 8–9+ years

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Copilot Studio Developer to design and implement intelligent copilots leveraging Microsoft Copilot Studio. The ideal candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to create dynamic, scalable, and responsible AI-driven solutions that enhance user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement intelligent copilots using Microsoft Copilot Studio.
  • Build and manage custom topics, triggers, and multi-turn dialogues for dynamic user interactions.
  • Connect copilots to external data sources and APIs using Power Automate, Dataverse, and other Power Platform components.
  • Develop reusable agent components adaptable across different copilots and business domains.

Collaboration & Project Delivery

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective copilot experiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align copilots with business goals and user needs.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, high-performing, and compliant with AI governance standards.
  • Participate in both project-based and staff augmentation engagements, adapting to diverse client environments.

Consulting & Client Engagement (Preferred)

  • Support sales and delivery teams in designing copilot solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Assist in developing estimates and proposals, articulating the value of Copilot Studio-based solutions.
  • Conduct technical presentations and demos for clients and stakeholders.

Required Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience building solutions with Power Platform, Copilot Studio, or similar low-code tools.
  • Experience in client-facing or cross-functional team environments.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Power Fx, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Microsoft Graph API.
  • Experience integrating external data sources and services into Copilot Studio.
  • Strong understanding of solution performance, scalability, and ethical AI compliance.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments.
  • Passion for building responsible, user-centered AI solutions.
