Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer - Studio Facility Patrol in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.
As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech and media location, you will monitor assigned areas, perform routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. You will engage with people on site, offering outstanding customer service and clear communication to support a secure environment. This position is also a driving post, requiring you to drive as part of your daily responsibilities. - Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations within the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Observe and report any unusual conditions or incidents encountered during patrols.
- Communicate promptly and professionally with Allied Universal management and site representatives regarding security-related matters.
- Follow protocols for access control, visitor management, and property protection as outlined by site-specific guidelines.
- Support emergency response operations, including evacuations and drills, as required by the location.

Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
