About Us Suzanne Schultze Interior Design specializes in high-end residential design , spanning new construction, renovations, and custom interiors. Known for our modern coastal aesthetic, our work is often described as serene, elegant, and timeless — a breath of fresh air that is both elevated and deeply comfortable.
We approach each project with the same philosophy we bring to our client relationships: a design process that feels thoughtful, seamless, and collaborative. We value strong partnerships with our vendors and contractors, and pride ourselves on navigating challenges with flexibility, positivity, and professionalism. We like to have fun too…
About the Role We are seeking a Interior Designer to join our team and play a key role in the creative and technical execution of projects from concept through installation. This position requires a highly skilled, detail-oriented designer with at least 6–8 years of professional residential design experience. It is currently a part-time position, but we are a growing firm.
As a Designer, you will collaborate closely with the Principal, helping to translate the overall design vision into refined concepts, detailed drawings, and beautifully layered interiors. You will manage project details day to day, and coordinate seamlessly with vendors, artisans, and contractors. While design direction comes from the Principal, this role requires a confident, creative partner who can take initiative, elevate ideas, and ensure execution at the highest level.
The ideal candidate is both imaginative and highly organized, with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of high-end residential design. You thrive in a collaborative studio but are equally capable of managing aspects of projects independently, always with precision and professionalism.
