Overview
IEA is seeking a Marketing Assistant to join our team in either our Dallas or Fort Worth, TX office. This position will support the Marketing Department in various marketing and proposal tasks. The Marketing Assistant will report to the IEA Marketing Manager and be mentored by various marketing team members. The ideal candidate will be professional and have great organizational and interpersonal communication skills, with prior office experience a plus. Needed computer skills include use of the Internet, Microsoft 365, and Adobe products.
Job Requirements
Lead completion of proposal forms (e.g. TxDOT, municipal, aviation)
Prepare data calls (exchange of qualification information) to and from clients in the AEC industry
Lead layout of qualifications statements
Participate/develop content for the Corporate Newsletter
Lead development of social media pillars over a calendar year with support of a team of marketing staff
Assist with other social media campaigns and pillars (e.g., brainstorming, writing, graphics/video creation)
Assist with proposal production and/or graphics creation
Assist with binding proposals and delivery of proposals
Assist with updates to corporate qualification materials (resumes, project descriptions, brochures)
Assist with grammar reviews and copyediting
Inventory of promotional items
Attend industry events on behalf of IEA, as needed
Other marketing support, as needed
Energetic, self-starter, multi-tasker, organized, and detail-oriented
Possess a sense of urgency to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
An attitude and commitment to being an active participant in our employee-owned culture is a must
Qualifications
Experience in a Marketing-type Role (work-study positions and Internship experience will be considered as experience, if relevant) is preferred
High School Diploma or GED required
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Communication, Marketing, or related field preferred
Clean Texas Driving Record required (you may operate a company vehicle at times)
Skills
Proficient in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Illustrator, and Photoshop
Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Premier experience a plus
Organization – proactively prioritize needs and effectively manage resources
Communication – effective and legible oral and written
Motivation – self-starter who can set high standards and deliver leading quality services
