Location: San Francisco, CA – Hybrid (Onsite Tues–Thurs at 333 Bush Street)

Job Type: Contract (6 Months – Possible Extension)

Job Description

Client of San Francisco is seeking three (3) Mid-Level UI/UX Designers to support its Digital Platforms Team. This role is hands-on and collaborative, requiring interaction with engineering, business, and product stakeholders to deliver intuitive and scalable internal user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
• Create wireframes, mockups, user flows, and interactive prototypes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and iterate on designs
• Contribute to and maintain the design system for consistency and scalability
• Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (WCAG, ADA)
• Apply UX best practices in all phases of design
• Stay current with industry tools, trends, and methods

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Human Factors, or related field
• 3–5 years of professional UX/UI design experience
• Strong portfolio demonstrating UX/UI design work
• Proficiency in tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, etc.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience working in Agile or cross-functional environments

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular)
• Experience with prototyping tools (InVision, Proto.io, etc.)
• Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG, ADA)
• Experience with Design Thinking methodologies

• Hybrid: 3 days onsite (Tues–Thurs) at 333 Bush Street, San Francisco, CA
