The YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas, established in 1885, consists of 16 branches and one destination camp and employs over 2000 staff - all dedicated to building healthy, confident, connected, and secure children, adults, families and communities.

We are currently seeking a Business, Development & Communication Director who, under the direction of the Vice President of Operations, is responsible for management, execution and growth in three areas of focus.

This position will oversee all Annual Campaign, business operations and marketing/communication at the the Semones YMCA, supported by one full-time staff.

This position is critical in the ability of the YMCA to effectively and accurately operate through its business systems, while overseeing all AR and billing/data entry. The incumbent will maintain internal and external communications and marketing. They will ensure timely and proper information is shared in an effective manner. Working with vendors is critical in creating a transparent communication system.

This position drives the Annual Campaign and serves as the branch's campaign director. It is important for this position to ensure that relationships are maintained with the board of managers, campaign volunteers, community members and the general public. Coordinating and overseeing the success of the Annual Campaign is critical.

The incumbent must be a high functioning contributor to a robust staff team, providing support in all areas as needed.

Minimum 4 years experience in business or marketing related position, or applicable workplace experience. Must have strong computer skills and be capable of communicating with internal and external stakeholders. The incumbent must have a thorough understanding regarding day-to-day management of YMCA Business Policies and Procedures. Should possess management experience and be competent in communications and marketing, financial management, and business operations. Should possess skills in managing multiple priorities, communications, customer relations, motivating staff and volunteers, must have experience in marketing, volunteer support and fundraising Must obtain and maintain any required training for this position.
