Job Description

This role is based in Washington, D.C. office.

As a Content Strategist, you will help clients achieve their marketing goals by developing compelling, valuable content and advising on content marketing strategy. You will create products such as e‑books, sponsored articles, webinars, and more, while collaborating with high‑value accounts across client‑owned blogs, design, video and other media.

Job Duties

  • Serve as lead strategist for an array of client content programs, driving and overseeing production while advising on strategy.
  • Develop content pitches aligned with the client’s sector and tailored to a knowledgeable B2B audience.
  • Edit written assets for style, clarity, tone and relevance to client goals.
  • Own the successful production and delivery of content products (e‑books, sponsored articles, surveys, webinars, etc.).
  • Review content performance data to provide data‑driven insights and recommendations.
  • Project‑manage production timelines across all assigned projects.
  • Organize and run kick‑off calls with clients; act as primary point of contact for client requests.
  • Oversee licensed content curation and collaborate with freelance writers and editors.
  • Work closely with co‑strategists, program team and content director to manage expectations and resolve escalated client issues.

Qualifications

  • 3-4 years of experience in a content marketing role.
  • Knowledge of retail, marketing, restaurants, food, or grocery sectors is a plus.
  • Comfort in a very client‑facing role.
  • Strong project management skills; ability to manage multiple projects, multitask and work within tight deadlines.
  • Team‑player who can take ownership of independent projects.
  • Growth mindset and positive attitude.

Pay Range

$70,000 – $80,000 depending on experience.
