About the Internship
Respect My Region is offering a hands‑on, educational internship designed to provide real‑world experience in social media management, video editing, and digital publishing.
This position is unpaid and structured in accordance with the U.S. Department of Labor’s guidelines for internships under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
The program’s primary goal is to benefit the intern through skill development, mentorship, and portfolio growth.
Interns typically contribute 10–15 hours per week for 90 to 180 days, with flexible scheduling.
Upon successful completion, participants are eligible for:
- A letter of recommendation from the RMR CEO
- Paid contractual opportunities based on performance and skill
- Optional commission opportunities (10%) on sales directly assisted by the intern
Internship Responsibilities
- Assist with social media content distribution for RMR articles and campaigns
- Edit short‑form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts
- Support the editing and publishing of podcast clips and digital media content
- Gain experience with daily publishing workflows and creative trend analysis
Ideal Candidate
- Passionate about music, culture, social media, and storytelling
- Eager to learn about viral content creation and digital brand strategy
- Familiar with or willing to learn basic video editing (CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar)
- Organized, self‑motivated, and creative
