Role Description
USPAACC is seeking a Contract Event Planner to join our team. This is a remote position, preferably based in the Dallas, TX area. The contract will begin immediately and run through June 2026, with the possibility of renewal or transition to a full-time role based on performance. The Event Planner will serve as a key member of USPAACC’s program team, coordinating both events and related program activities. The role involves managing logistics, coordinating with partners and sponsors, and ensuring the successful execution of national and regional events. This position requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate virtual, hybrid, and in-person events
- Oversee event logistics including venue selection, vendor management, schedules, and registration
- Support program initiatives and related activities as part of the event planning process
- Coordinate with sponsors, partners, and vendors to ensure all deliverables are met
- Develop and track event budgets and timelines
- Prepare post-event summaries and reports
- Provide administrative and communication support for assigned programs
Qualifications
- Proven experience in event planning, event management, or program coordination
- Strong communication, organization, and project management skills
- Experience with budgeting and managing vendors or partners
- Ability to work independently and remotely with minimal supervision
- Experience planning or supporting large national conferences is strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business, or a related field
