Responsibilities

  • Communicate with or to individuals or groups verbally and in writing (eg customers, suppliers, associates).
  • Implement the business plan for the area of responsibility by communicating goals, managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties, coordinating workloads, and ensuring associates complete required training to achieve facility goals.
  • Manage daily administrative functions of the HR office, including benefits, hiring, transfers, terminations, payroll, and executing and refining recruiting and staffing initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company HR policies by reviewing and managing the accuracy, confidentiality, and maintenance of HR documents, assisting in the implementation of HR systems, and researching to gather data for HR related issues.
  • Maintain quality and safety standards in the area of responsibility by ensuring associates are trained on logistics and company policies, standards and procedures, monitoring compliance, distributing and maintaining procedures, and supporting documentation.
  • Identify associate, customer, and supplier concerns by listening, consulting with others when needed, determining corrective action, and making recommendations to resolve issues.
  • Supervise and develop associates and leaders by assigning duties, coordinating workloads, monitoring performance, providing feedback, teaching, supporting, and modeling logistics policies and procedures, identifying training needs, and participating in hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching, and evaluation of associates and leaders.
  • Manage and coordinate training (e.g., new hire orientation, CBL modules, web‑based training, virtual classroom for distribution and transportation associates), helping identify training needs for hourly associates and drivers and monitoring completion of training curricula and compliance.
  • Provide supervision and development opportunities, hire and train, mentor, assign duties, provide recognition, and promote a belonging mindset in the workplace.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, support the company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans, supporting the Open Door Policy, and providing direction on business processes.
  • Build a high‑performing, inclusive workplace where associates feel seen, supported, and connected; attract, retain, and develop talent and recognize contributions.
  • Act with integrity by maintaining ethical standards, transparency, and accountability, and fostering a culture of belonging.

Required Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field and 1 year of supervisory experience, OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field, OR 2 years of Walmart Logistics management experience, OR 2 years of supervisory experience (including 1 year managing Human Resource processes), OR 1 year of Walmart Stores, Inc. Human Resources experience.
  • Associates required to attend and successfully complete all job‑required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Human Resources, Microsoft Office, Supervising Associates, Training and Facilitation, Walmart Logistics Systems.
  • Bachelor’s in Business or Logistics.
  • Human Resources – Professional HR (PHR) Certification, Human Resources – Senior Professional HR (SPHR) Certification.

Benefits and Compensation

The annual salary range for this position is $65,500.00 – $98,000.00. Additional compensation may include performance bonuses, Regional Pay Zone, and stock. Benefits include medical, vision, dental coverage, 401(k), paid time off, parental leave, and other company perks. PTO may be used for vacation, sick leave, holidays, or other purposes.
