Reality Games is a highly visual indie feature in the style of Fight Club x Scott Pilgrim x a video game, exploring deepfakes, disinformation, and social media conflict. We are in final post‑production, finishing VFX: motion graphics, screen comps, UI, and game‑like elements comped into outage.

About You

We’re seeking a Senior Motion Graphics Artist to help bring a pivotal four‑minute sci‑fi/game‑like sequence to life, blending CG, live‑action, and composited elements into a cohesive visual experience. You should be fluent in Cinema 4D and After Effects, with a sharp eye for detail, pacing, and visual storytelling. This role requires someone who can take a loosely defined vision and transform it into fully realized, emotionally resonant imagery while handling everything from look development and animatics to final composite.

You’ll be trusted to work independently while providing creative direction across the sequence, ensuring every frame feels unified, cinematic, and tonally consistent with the film. We’re looking for someone who thrives at the intersection of design, animation, and VFX, an artist who can both execute and art‑direct with confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create high‑quality, photorealistic effects.
• Design, model, animate, and seamlessly integrate motion graphics into live‑action plates (e.g., futuristic HUDs, screen interfaces, magical holograms, 3D props and characters).
• Execute all aspects of the VFX pipeline, including compositing (2D/3D), roto, and paint.
• Work closely with the VFX Supervisor to develop looks, provide time estimates, and deliver shots on schedule.
• Ability to do minimal art direction is a must.
• Evolve existing assets that have a set visual style into finished sequences.
• Work within the set timing of the sequences' animatic/reference footage.
• Manage your own workload within our shot tracking system (a database in Coda), with clear and consistent communication on progress and challenges.

Must‑Have Qualifications:

• Expert‑level proficiency in Adobe After Effects.
• Deep understanding of Cinema 4D.
• Experience in modeling, rigging and 3D animation.
• Previous experience working in film, television, or advertising as a motion graphics artist/designer.
• Excellent communication skills and a reliable, self‑motivated work ethic. You must be able to operate efficiently in a remote setting.
• An unwavering attention to detail and a proven track record of meticulously matching client specs, reference, and technical requirements. You must be comfortable, and effective, working within a detailed, precise framework.
