Sweetwater, the nation's #1 online retailer of pro audio equipment and music instruments is seeking to hire a Music Store Merchandiser to add to our growing Music Store team. Music Store Merchandisers are responsible for managing projects in the Music Store including feature display design and implementation, price supervision, promotional display creation and execution, general store upkeep, purchase and service order management, and efficacy report generation.

• Thursday: 7am-4pm
• Friday: 7am-4pm
• Saturday: 7am-4pm

Job Responsibilities

• Managing daily price changes software, tag making software, and execution and implementation of price tags
• Complete daily restock of accessories and guitars throughout the Music Store showrooms, displays, and gondolas.
• Contribute to general store maintenance including dusting, tidying and stocking consultation tables, resetting demo rooms, and front-facing product.
• Ensure displays and inventory are accurately priced and in line with local and national marketing campaigns.
• Utilize software to manage projects and requests from other departments and teams, including store resets, promotional display creation, high-priority launches, display requests, tag requests, and empty hook requests.
• Identify new potential opportunities by reviewing customer, vendor, manufacturer, and departmental feedback to increase customer engagement and sales.
• Oversee the adjustment of inventory to accurately reflect when items are on hold, made a display, and/or not for sale. Manage purchase orders and stock allocation on a frequent basis to develop attractive and engaging displays
• Monitor stock levels, item interest, item availability, sales velocity, item status, local and national buying trends, and new releases using multiple Business Intelligence software and relevant data analysis and generating efficacy reports based on the data therein.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• General computer literacy
• Music gear knowledge
• Ability to generate inventory efficacy reports utilizing various Business Intelligence software
• Effective communication skills with the ability to multi-task in an ever-changing environment
• Ability to lift up to 50lb
