Job Summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Professional Security Shift Supervisor to oversee a Television Network located in Rockefeller Center, Manhattan. The Supervisor will supervise and coordinate delivery of quality services on a specific shift, acting as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers. Responsibilities include coaching staff, providing recognition and discipline within approved empowerment ranges, and ensuring compliance with all company policies.

Shift Details

• Position type: Full Time
• Work shifts available: Morning and Afternoon
• Workdays flexible: Sunday – Saturday
• Pay range: $24 – $25 per hour
• Interaction: Daily customer service with general public, clients, and staff

Shift Physical Requirements

• Walk/stand for long periods of time
• Work outside in the elements

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• At least 18 years of age
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills; ability to use initiative and independent judgement within established guidelines
• Frequent preparation of written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting
• Ability to read and understand operating procedures and instructions
• Valid driver’s license with at least one year of experience; clean driving record (no major violations in last 36 months, no more than one accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months); ability to safely operate a required vehicle
• Background investigation and pre‑employment drug/alcohol test required; may be required to pass a driver’s record check
• Intermediate computer skills to utilize innovative, wireless technology at client sites
• Ability to handle common and crisis situations at the client site calmly and efficiently
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Physical abilities:
  • Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow, or heat
  • Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
  • Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
  • Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
