Location: Remote (Preference for candidates near Columbus, OH)

Duration: 6-Month Contract (Possible Extension)

Pay Range: $60–$64 per hour (W2)

Schedule: 40 hours/week

About the Role

The client is seeking an experienced Senior Product Designer with deep expertise in mobile app and mobile-first web experiences. This role is ideal for a designer who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative Agile environment and can independently deliver high-quality user experiences from concept to production.

You’ll partner with cross-functional teams—including engineering, product management, and design peers—to craft intuitive, engaging, and visually polished user experiences for large-scale consumer digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design process, from concept sketches to high-fidelity prototypes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure usability, accessibility, and brand consistency across all digital touchpoints.
• Create and maintain user flows, experience maps, wireframes, and prototypes.
• Contribute to and evolve the design system, ensuring scalable and consistent design solutions.
• Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders and team members.
• Work within Agile product teams, contributing to sprint planning and backlog refinement.
• Balance user needs and business goals in every design decision.
• Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to other designers when needed.

Required Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of hands‑on experience in product design or UX/UI design.
• Proven track record designing and shipping native mobile applications and responsive web products.
• Strong proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Deep understanding of UX and UI best practices, including accessibility and usability standards.
• Experience working within design systems and contributing to scalable design libraries.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; able to articulate design rationale clearly.
• Prior experience working in cross-functional Agile/Scrum teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Experience in eCommerce or retail digital product design.
• Familiarity with design research methodologies and A/B testing.

• Equipment: Must use own device (company laptop can be arranged if needed)
• Interview Process:
• Initial screening with hiring manager (30 minutes)
• Project walkthrough interview with design leader (60 minutes)
