About the Visual Merchandising Manager

Serving as the Visual Merchandising Manager (VMM), you will be leading the execution of visual standards across ZWILLING retail locations. You will be optimizing product placement using sales data, enhancing visual promotions, and collaborating with retail leadership to elevate customer experience through compelling merchandising. In this role, you will report to the Vice President of Retail Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Partnering with retail and corporate leadership to localize corporate Visual Merchandiser (VM) guidelines.
  • Updating VM guidelines to ensure consistency across seasonal campaigns and product launches.
  • Creating visually engaging planograms for new store openings and updating layouts for existing stores based on inventory and product lines.
  • Collaborating with marketing to identify promotional opportunities and support new product launches.
  • Traveling to store locations to ensure adherence to updated visual marketing standards.
  • Developing brand‑compliant signage and promotional materials in partnership with the marketing team.
  • Identifying and sharing store level marketing opportunities with the marketing specialist.
  • Establishing the visual identity for everyday signage across ZWILLING Factory Outlet Centers (FOC) and brand stores.
  • Working with the retail marketing specialist, refreshing and updating digital screens and signage with accurate pricing, product data, and promotions.
  • Emotionalizing the brand experience within retail environments.
  • Providing monthly planograms to retail leadership and store managers.
  • Engaging with store associates and Regional Managers (RM) on merchandising updates.
  • Analyzing in‑store opportunities for enhanced product placement.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, design, merchandising, or a related field, preferably with retail branding experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) is required to develop compelling visual presentations, signage, and merchandising layouts that align with brand standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive and strategic thinker with a passion for visual storytelling, continuous learning, and driving sales through impactful merchandising.
  • Thriving in both independent and collaborative creative environments.
  • Communicates clearly and works seamlessly with team members and external partners to bring visual concepts to life.
  • Highly organized with strong skills in planning, prioritizing, and managing multiple visual projects while consistently meeting tight deadlines.
  • Energized by fast‑paced retail environments and known for being passionate, adaptable, and resourceful in delivering visually impactful experiences.
  • Demonstrates strong organizational abilities, including planning, prioritizing, and efficiently managing multiple merchandising tasks.
  • Capable of safely maneuvering fixtures and lifting merchandise up to 50 pounds to support dynamic visual setups.
  • Willing to travel up to 40% of the time to support business needs.

Salary Range

$80,000.00- $100,000.00 USD per year contingent upon experience.
