Description

  • Develop, write, and maintain comprehensive documentation including user guides, API references, release notes, FAQs, and online help.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and QA teams to understand features and workflows.
  • Translate highly technical concepts into clear, user‑friendly content for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Establish and enforce content standards, style guides, and documentation best practices.
  • Work with cross‑functional teams to ensure documentation aligns with product roadmap and release cycles.
  • Create structured, reusable content for multiple platforms (web, PDFs, knowledge bases, developer portals).
  • Participate in peer reviews, editing, and quality assurance of technical content.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve documentation processes, tools, and content strategies.

Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in a software or SaaS environment.
  • Strong ability to understand and document APIs, SDKs, and developer‑focused products.
  • Proficiency with documentation tools such as MadCap Flare, FrameMaker, Confluence, or similar.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and documentation workflows in agile development environments.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with API documentation platforms (Swagger / OpenAPI, Postman).
  • Knowledge of Markdown, HTML, XML, or DITA‑based authoring.
