Overview Growth Marketing Lead role at Flex. Flex is a growth-stage, NYC headquartered FinTech company focused on improving rent payment experiences and giving users more flexibility in paying rent. We are looking for motivated individuals to help us grow while staying true to our mission.
Responsibilities Email & SMS Campaigns: Manage the campaign lifecycle from concept through implementation, monitoring, and optimization. Design, build, and implement both marketing email and SMS campaigns to drive engagement and signups.
Creative & Content Development: Create compelling email and SMS creatives aligned with brand voice; test and refine content based on performance insights.
A/B Testing, Optimization & Customer Segmentation: Lead A/B testing to improve performance; segment audiences for personalized messaging; develop lifecycle-based strategies.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Engagement: Work with creative, content, sales, and other teams to ensure campaigns are well-supported and consistent across channels.
Innovation & Strategy: Plan, coordinate, and execute campaigns aligned with business goals; apply data-driven insights and industry trends to improve engagement and app traffic.
Escalation Management: Oversee issue escalation during campaigns and coordinate timely feedback and adjustments.
Reporting & Analysis: Track and analyze campaign performance and provide actionable recommendations using key metrics such as conversion rates, ROI, and engagement.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay current with federal regulations and ensure marketing communications comply with relevant guidelines (e.g., TCPA, GDPR, CAN-SPAM).
Qualifications 3+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing email and SMS campaign management with a focus on A/B testing and customer communication optimization.
Proficiency with email and SMS marketing platforms, A/B testing tools, and analytics software; HTML experience strongly preferred.
Experience in risk or regulated industries (financial services) preferred.
Familiarity with telecommunications regulations (TCPA, CCPA, CAN-SPAM) and compliance importance in marketing communications.
Strong data analysis skills with ability to translate insights into actionable strategies for improving marketing performance and engagement.
Proven track record in driving acquisition, retention, and reactivation through targeted messaging and segmentation.
Highly collaborative with cross-functional experience with marketing, product, data, and compliance teams.
Creative and innovative thinker committed to optimizing user experience through digital channels.
Work Setup This is a hybrid position with on-site expectations of 3 days per week in our New York Headquarters.
Compensation The salary range for this role will be commensurate with experience and Flex's leveling guidelines and benchmarks. Base salary range: $115,000-$132,000.
