Overview As a Motion Graphics Designer, you will work alongside a dynamic group of Designers, Copywriters, and MarTech team members. You will be a versatile visual lead on a variety of multimedia projects and campaigns including web videos, animated shorts, trailers, product demos, digital signage, social media campaigns and more. An ideal candidate will have a sound working knowledge of design principles and be highly creative with exceptional organizational skills and outstanding attention to detail.

Responsibilities Produce high-end motion graphics for web, digital, broadcast, virtual, and live events
Analyze a project’s script or creative treatment and visualize an artistic execution that incorporates animated graphics and / or video elements
Develop and produce storyboards, graphics, and animations for use on websites, in multimedia presentations, and at conferences and live events
Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with project team members and clients, offering creative insights to already developed scripts and storyboards
Leverage your expertise to challenge our internal teams to develop the most effective, visually engaging solutions that exceed client expectations
Collaborate with the MarTech department to create user-centric web assets including micro animations that enrich the UX and rapid-prototype product demos
Partner with Project Managers and colleagues to balance design solutions with budget and timeline limitations
Promote the principles of video engagement across the agency, including video best-practices for mobile, social, and web
Serve as an in-house expert and lead creator for video and motion graphics projects—from small social media and website animations to full script animated videos
Qualifications 4+ years of experience in video / motion graphics design
Expert understanding of motion best practices and design principles
You must understand and be able to correctly employ animation concepts like easing, layering, keyframes, transitions and more.
A solid understanding of user-centered design principles and practices to help enhance engagement by leveraging motion principles
Proficient knowledge of design and video software (Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, Adobe Premiere, etc.)
Proficient understanding of how audio, motion, and raw video can come together to tell a compelling story
Self-starter, independent thinker, highly responsible
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Thrives in a fast-paced environment
Strict attention to detail and adherence to project deadlines
Able to work in a hybrid role if / when we return to the office
Knowledge of 3D animation software, especially Cinema 4D, is a plus but not required
