Drafter/ Designer Job at Actalent in Lakewood

Overview The Designer/Drafter will be responsible for completing drawings in AutoCAD, which will be developed into detailed fabrication sheets for the production of commercial railing products. Responsibilities Develop and complete drawings using AutoCAD. Create detailed fabrication sheets for production purposes. Collaborate with team members to ensure design accuracy and quality. Travel to local job sites as necessary to gather information and ensure design feasibility. Essential Skills 2-5 years of professional experience with AutoCAD. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints. Experience in drafting or designing for structural, construction, framing, or similar industries. Additional Skills & Qualifications Mechanical or structural design experience is advantageous. A strong desire to grow into a senior role within 2-3 years. Work Environment Work hours are Monday through Friday, from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. The role involves traveling to local job sites as necessary to ensure design accuracy and feasibility. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lakewood, New Jersey. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $75000.00/hr.
