Retail Rush is a new discount retail store bringing unbeatable deals and a fun shopping experience to the Columbus community. We're looking for a creative, outgoing, and motivated
Social Media Coordinator
to help us grow our brand and engage with our customers online and in-store.
We're seeking a dynamic and social media-savvy team member to capture content onsite, connect with our customers, and bring Retail Rush's brand to life across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and more. This is a great role for someone early in their career with a passion for content creation, social platforms, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
You'll work closely with the Marketing Manager to plan and execute social campaigns, create compelling content, and engage with our online community-while also assisting with in-store customer service.
Work Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, 11:00 am - 7:00 pm
Responsibilities
Capture photos and videos onsite, highlighting new products, deals, and in-store experiences. Interact with customers in-store and online to build community and brand loyalty. Manage posting and scheduling across all social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, etc.) using
Meta Business Suite . Plan and host TikTok Live sessions and livestream sales via platforms like
WhatNot
and
TikTok Shop . Source, collect, and share user-generated content. Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to create and maintain a social media content calendar. Respond to comments, messages, and reviews to ensure top-notch customer engagement. Assist with in-store customer care, ensuring customers leave happy and return for more. Design content (graphics, flyers, ads, etc.) using
InDesign
and
Canva . Qualifications
Education/ Experience :
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred; or equivalent experience. 1+ year of experience managing or creating content for social media (internship or personal brand experience counts!). Skills :
Proficiency with
WhatNot, TikTok Shop , and
Meta Business Suite
is a plus. Experience creating content using
InDesign
and
Canva . Comfortable filming and appearing in videos, and hosting live sessions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills; customer service experience is a plus. Abilities :
Creative, detail-oriented, and highly organized with the ability to multitask. Passion for retail, social media trends, and creating memorable customer experiences. Location :

Up to 10% Pay & Benefits :
Compensation is determined by various factors such as location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as internal and external equity and organizational needs. Additionally, this role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
The salary range for this position is $21.90 to $26.30 hourly. The posted range reflects our national average range for the job. We may ultimately pay more or less than the published range based on the factors mentioned above. This range may be modified in the future.
