Pay Range: $76,000 - $90,000 USD per year

Overview

Vox Media’s Lifestyle pod is a fast‑moving creative team focused on storytelling across social platforms. We seek a social video leader who can ideate, produce, and manage short‑form content while staying on top of platform trends and audience engagement.

What You’ll Do

• Lead sponsorship and brand campaign social videos, collaborating closely with the Supervising Producer.
• Oversee and grow a network of creators for social video, managing production timelines and creative direction.
• Work with Audio/Video Development Directors to publish content in a timely manner, assisting with calendar programming and platform strategy.
• Create social videos individually and with editorial talent, ensuring high‑quality outputs for our audience.
• Develop repeatable social series concepts, shoot and edit 1‑2 social videos per week, and pitch new ideas based on trends and current moments.

Who You Are

• 6+ years hands‑on video/social production experience, 5+ years producing short‑form social content.
• Comfortable on set and in the field, with professionalism around celebrity guests and brand partners.
• Strong writing, communication, and Adobe Suite (Premiere, Photoshop) skills.
• Expert in developing social concepts, video analytics, and sponsored video concepts.
• High‑end and low‑fi shooting capability for social platforms.
• Demonstrated leadership and 2‑3 years senior experience, with talent or creator management and agent experience.
• Passion for social media content creation, innovation, and rapid platform changes.
