Overview
We’re looking for a UI/Visual Designer with a strong eye for aesthetics and a passion for creating clean, modern, and scalable design across platforms. In this role, you’ll focus on elevating the visual quality of our user experiences within a complex system of tools and integrations. You’ll be responsible for crafting cohesive, high‑quality designs that reflect and evolve the Marcel design language—ensuring consistency and polish across web, iOS, and Android platforms.
Responsibilities
You’ll collaborate closely with other designers, product managers, and engineers to deliver pixel‑perfect interfaces, guide visual consistency, and shape how our global users engage with Marcel. This is a hands‑on design role focused on delivering excellence through craft, systems thinking, and a strong attention to detail.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in product design with a focus on visual craft and interface design.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual design and execution across responsive and native interfaces.
- Deep expertise in typography, layout, hierarchy, spacing, color, and component‑level design.
- Proficient in modern design tools like Figma (preferred).
- Comfortable working within and contributing to a mature design system, helping maintain visual consistency across products.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver clean, polished handoff files with thorough documentation for engineering teams.
- Experience collaborating with Product and Engineering to deliver visually refined, production‑ready designs on tight timelines.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus as needed in a fast‑paced environment.
- Self‑motivated with a strong sense of ownership, organization, and follow‑through.
- Open, team‑oriented mindset; values collaboration, feedback, and shared craft excellence.
