KCBS2/KCAL9 TV, the CBS Owned & Operated Duopoly in Los Angeles, is seeking a full‑time Assignment Editor!

Overview and Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Coordinate multiple live field crews
• Gather accurate information from the public, public agencies, and companies
• Maintain strong people and communication skills in a competitive, pressurized environment
• Work under intense deadlines

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an Assignment Editor
• A passion for breaking news

Additional Qualifications

• Top twenty market experience
• Knowledge of the Southern California area
• College degree preferred

Salary Range

$64,813.32 – $99,225.36 per year
