Dori Saves Lives is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in 2004 after the tragic loss of Dori Slosberg, daughter of former Florida State Representative Irv Slosberg. Our mission is to save lives through driver education, awareness programs, and community outreach across Florida. We are currently seeking sponsors to support our major statewide event, the 15th Annual Florida Drivers Education Teachers Summit.

Open Roles

• Fundraiser / Grant Writer
  • Research and write compelling grant proposals and sponsorship appeals
  • Build and maintain relationships with corporations, foundations, and private donors
  • Support sponsorship efforts for the annual statewide Drivers Ed Teachers Summit
  • Assist with donor relations, tracking, and reporting
• Executive Assistant / Event Coordinator
  • Provide direct support to the Chairman
  • Coordinate statewide school assemblies and large-scale traffic-safety events
  • Manage scheduling, correspondence, and digital communication
  • Attend live transportation meetings in both the Florida Senate and House
  • Read and summarize proposed bills that could affect traffic safety

Pay and Hours

• $25/hour
• 20–30 hours per week
• Some remote work possible (Tallahassee-based preferred)
• Main Office: Boca Raton, Florida; Satellite Office: Tallahassee, Florida
