Overview

Content Producer — Bleeding Edge EdTech Startup, New York, NY. Freelance / Contract.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the quality of the company’s content in the content management system (CMS); apply attention to detail, make corrections, and work with creators to ensure content is accurate and well-presented.
• Serve as a liaison between writers, designers, developers, and the quality-assurance process; support high visibility work and maintain broad communication across the organization.
• Help ensure content looks and feels right for external audiences, seeking clarification from teams as needed.

Hired Gun Profile (Qualifications)

• Prior experience working in a CMS; a background in design, familiarity with Adobe Creative, HTML, or Agile is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable engaging with colleagues, asking clarifying questions, listening, and diplomatically addressing content issues.
• Basic knowledge of science or EdTech background is advantageous.

Beyond CMS proficiency, EdTech experience is not required but considered a definite plus; mention any academic or employment experiences related to science or education.
