Project Engineer (Facilities Planner/Designer)

to support our clients facility planning and interior design initiatives in Detroit, MI. The selected candidate will be responsible for

planning, designing, and optimizing workspace layouts , managing furniture and space utilization, and ensuring alignment with organizational design standards and operational needs. This role requires strong technical design abilities, attention to detail, and the capability to coordinate with internal and external project stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Plan and design efficient space layouts for offices and facilities. Develop and coordinate layout designs to meet occupants operational requirements. Manage and maintain inventories of facility spaces and furnishings. Prepare plans and specifications for bid documents and oversee implementation. Collaborate with vendors and manufacturers for custom furniture and equipment design. Ensure compliance with established facility standards and design criteria. Participate in surveys and long-range facility space planning activities. May assist with related construction and renovation project work as needed. Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree

in Architecture, Facility Management, or Interior Design (preferred). 35 years

of architectural or facility planning experience in a corporate or professional environment. Proficiency in CADD MicroStation ; familiarity with

Autodesk Revit

is preferred. Strong computer, communication, and project coordination skills. Ability to manage multiple design and planning projects simultaneously.
