This role involves a broad range of marketing responsibilities to promote our resort properties.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Assist with development and management of content (copy and images) for a variety of assets, including marketing collateral, direct mail, website, social media, and emails.
- Maintain marketing job requests in project management tools (such as Wrike).
- Perform marketing production traffic coordination, including regular status reviews of project tasks with artists, designers, developers, copywriters, managers, directors, clients, and others.
- Collaborate with internal and external business partners.
- Coordinate photo and video shoots with internal and external resources—scheduling venues, props, models, and crew.
- Maintain multiple spreadsheets related to project schedules, financials, and marketing plans.
- Assist with social media/digital marketing efforts as it pertains to PR and monitor all media for the same purpose.
- Assist with concerts and special events as needed to oversee media, photographers, FAMS, and VIP guest experiences.
- Plan and execute media events to promote new and existing property outlets, amenities and services.
- Assist marketing department with a variety of tasks, including compiling marketing assets for third‑party partners, developing radio and TV scripts, and assisting in marketing plans and special events/promotions.
- Maintain a positive and professional image when representing Grand Sierra Resort at all times.
- Assist in production of large‑format print assets (e.g., posters) using the in‑house print facility.
- Coordinate the distribution and publication of print and digital content.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Superior organizational, time‑management and communication skills.
- Ability to produce high‑quality content and complete tasks consistently and accurately.
- Proficiency in standard business applications such as MS Word, Google Docs, MS Excel, Google Sheets, MS PowerPoint, Google Forms, and others.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent guest service skills for internal clients, outside vendors, and property guests.
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Work independently and handle multiple projects within established timelines.
- Flexible to work all shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends as business needs dictate.
- Hospitality experience and understanding of guest expectations and offers.
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple tasks.
- Strong written, oral, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Proactive, energetic personality with an inquisitive mindset.
- Flexible and adaptable in learning new technologies and practices.
- Ability to conduct research into software‑related issues and products.

Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, Business or comparable experience is required.
- Previous casino/resort industry experience is preferred.
- Experience in brand management or large brand consumer communications is preferred.
Physical Demands
- Constant standing, kneeling, walking, reaching, twisting, grasping, lifting, speaking and using a computer, telephone, and spoken words.
- Frequent wrist motion, dexterity, eye‑hand coordination, and typing on a computer keyboard.
- Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment
