Summary

The primary responsibility of the Art Director is to create and execute graphic design for assigned clients/projects, working with other team members to ensure that results are on schedule and meet strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate a knowledge of design, typography, branding, layout (including hierarchy, composition, and communication), photo retouching, and image manipulation
  • Develop and present creative campaigns that support agreed-upon goals and strategy
  • Contribute to creative team brainstorm and critique sessions
  • Give clear direction and feedback to production designers and editors working on shared projects
  • Generate completed work as assigned on scheduled timeline
  • Present finished creative product to stakeholders in a succinct and professional manner
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies
  • Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values
  • Protect the legal, moral, and financial well-being of the company
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Develop campaigns and branding elements
  • Create, design, and execute graphic design projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of advertising design experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in graphic design
  • Mastery in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Portfolio of past work that demonstrates design proficiency
  • Detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to prioritize projects, work within short time frames, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to interact with team members effectively while maintaining professionalism

Pay and Recognition

  • $75,000–$90,000 Annually
