Subway Sandwich Artist – 2nd Shift

What You’ll Do

• Exhibit a cheerful and helpful manner while greeting guests and preparing their orders.
• Demonstrate a complete understanding of menu items and explain them to guests accurately.
• Use the Point of Sale system/cash register to record the order and compute the amount of the bill. Collect payment from guests and make change.
• Perform Cash-In Procedure – accounting for all forms of money, bread, etc., during the shift.
• Prepare food neatly, according to formula, and on time.
• Check products in the sandwich unit area and restock items to ensure a sufficient supply throughout the shift.
• Understand and adhere to proper food handling, safety, and sanitation standards during food preparation, service and clean up.
• Clean and maintain all areas of the restaurant to promote a clean image. Understand and adhere to the 3‑step method for cleaning.
• Understand and adhere to all quality standards, formulas, and procedures.
• Maintain a professional appearance and grooming standards.
• Perform light paperwork duties as assigned.
• Complete University of Subway® courses as directed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in a retail or food service environment is preferred, but not required. We’re happy to train the right person.
• Strong hand‑eye coordination and the ability to multitask while maintaining quality.
• A positive, team‑oriented mindset with a focus on delivering excellent service every shift.
