Overview Of Position

The Audio Support Technician provides technical setup, operation, and troubleshooting for school events including but not limited to pep rallies, masses, retreats, orientation, homecoming, and graduation. This role ensures that sound, lighting, and video systems run smoothly before, during, and after each event. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a school environment. This is a part‑time position.

Primary Responsibilities

• Set up, test, and operate audio, lighting, and projection systems for school events.
• Support educators, students, and outside presenters with audio needs.
• Troubleshoot technical issues quickly and effectively during live events.
• Coordinate equipment setup and takedown, maintaining a safe and organized environment.
• Maintain and inventory equipment; report needed repairs or replacements.
• Collaborate with ASB and Facilities to ensure smooth event execution.
• Prior experience with live sound or event A/V systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Availability for evening and weekend events as scheduled.
