Position Overview

A Technician is responsible for the set up and operation of basic / small-scale audiovisual systems in a hospitality environment while ensuring complete customer satisfaction.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation: Ensures a flawlessly executed event through accurate and timely set up, operation, and breakdown of basic audiovisual equipment.
• Customer Service: Strives to exceed expectations and needs of internal and external customers; maintains a positive relationship; meets guests onsite; monitors events.
• Technical Ability: Demonstrates basic operational ability to troubleshoot and problem solve with equipment and software issues; handles challenges promptly.
• Systems Knowledge: Completes systems entry and paperwork accurately; uses equipment sheets to determine scheduled equipment; interacts with staff and vendors; upsells; finalizes invoices; completes order entries in Navigator.

Job Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for team members that may operate Company vehicles.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Work Environment

Hotel: performance in hotel/convention center environment with moderate exposure to outdoor temperatures and dirt/sand/dust. Working conditions vary between moderately quiet to noisy. On-call status and irregular hours.

Warehouse: performance at event venues or warehouse environment. Similar conditions. Same irregular hours.
