Assistant Community Manager – Position Overview
Dream Live Prosper Communities is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to contribute to our communities by fostering positive tenant relationships, managing rent collections, supporting the property manager, participating in property inspections, and attending eviction hearings. The ideal candidate will have a strong real estate or property management background and at least one year of experience.
Location & Schedule
- Location: Houston, Texas
- Position Type: Full-time
- Schedule: Flexible schedule with varied work hours, including weekends
What You Will Do
- Take charge of day‑to‑day operations for a portfolio of properties.
- Develop and nurture positive resident relations.
- Provide support for rent collection processes.
- Assist and supervise leasing operations.
- Oversee the administration of activities related to the physical operation of properties.
- Collaborate closely with project and construction teams on new and future developments.
- Manage vendor relationships, including invoice processing and service coordination.
- Actively participate in regular property inspections and attend eviction hearings.
- Ensure the preparation and maintenance of all leases and contract files.
- Initiate and execute lease renewals and signings.
Qualifications
- Strong background in real estate or property management.
- 3+ years of experience in property management or apartment management.
- Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience with Appfolio or other property management software is a plus.
- Insurance experience is a plus.
