The technologist will define the strategy, influence the industry ecosystem to support the strategy and lead R&D investigations that deliver industry‑leading experiences in Dell’s client products.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the graphics and dNPU strategy across hardware, software, and architecture to enable industry‑leading AI experiences.
  • Lead R&D efforts in graphics and dNPU technologies to deliver cutting‑edge desktop and notebook solutions.
  • Drive and influence industry standards that support and advance the strategic vision.
  • Leverage AI/ML for innovation, enabling breakthrough technologies and product capabilities.
  • Collaborate and mentor across teams, including marketing, engineering, and suppliers, while contributing through technical innovation and IP generation aligned with long‑term business goals.

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in graphics and NPU technologies and architecture preferably in PC products.
  • Demonstrated track record of impactful innovation and industry thought leadership.
  • Proven ability to influence internal stakeholders and technology partners to drive strategic outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of PC graphics and NPU hardware and software system design.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative mindset.

Desirable Requirements

  • Typically requires 15+ years of related experience in a professional role with a Bachelor’s degree; or 12+ years and a Master’s degree (EE or ME); or 8+ years and a PhD; or equivalent experience.

Compensation

Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is $229,500 - $297,000.
