Budget Truck and Auto is an auto body shop in Janesville, WI. We specialize in light duty (passenger vehicles) and heavy duty (semi’s, motor coaches, RV’s) performing collision repair, custom painting, and vinyl graphics. Budget is looking for an experienced Vinyl Graphics Department Manager to add to our team.

Job Title: Vinyl Graphics Department Manager

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay Range: $65k - $75k salary per year based on experience

About the Role: We’re looking for a skilled and organized Vinyl Graphics Department Manager to lead our production team and keep projects moving smoothly from design to installation. You’ll oversee workflow, manage staff, maintain quality standards, and ensure deadlines are met while upholding our company’s reputation for precision and creativity.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day operations in the vinyl graphics department
• Manage production schedules, prioritize jobs, and ensure on-time delivery
• Oversee vinyl printing, lamination, cutting, and installation prep
• Maintain quality control across all products and installations
• Train, mentor, and support installers and production staff
• Collaborate with design, sales, and installation teams to streamline workflow
• Monitor inventory levels, supplies, and equipment maintenance
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures and company standards
• Assist with hands-on production or installation as needed

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in vinyl graphics production or installation
• Prior management experience required
• Strong knowledge of large-format printing, laminating, cutting, and application techniques
• Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Proficiency with design software (Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Onyx PosterShop, and Versaworks) is a plus
