Job Summary

KOSA/First Alert 7/Telemundo 20 in Odessa-Midland, TX is seeking a Media Executive to join our elite sales team. This role puts you face‑to‑face with local business owners, selling marketing solutions to help them grow their business. We offer top‑of‑the‑line digital marketing products (Gray Digital Media) and powerful TV stations.

Responsibilities

• 90% of your time will be spent developing new local direct.
• Consult with business owners, marketing and advertising executives, directors, and managers to develop and implement an effective digital marketing strategy for their business.
• Meet or exceed sales expectations, goals, and budgets, and manage your own book of sales revenue for retention and growth.
• Learn and master digital advertising products and tools (we are always innovating and growing), along with Gray Digital Media's suite of digital services.
• Develop, retain, and grow client relationships in the Permian Basin and throughout the country.
• Manage your book of business using client management tools and software. Design, write, and present marketing proposals and PowerPoint presentations.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively across all KOSA/Gray Digital Media departments and support staff.

Qualifications

• Sales experience preferred
• Strong organizational, written, and presentation skills
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Willingness to learn
• Strong Relationship‑building, follow‑up, and customer service skills are a must
• Self‑starter with the ability to interact and influence others positively while working in a fast‑paced environment
• High achiever with excellent communication skills, creativity, and persistence
• Strong work ethic and integrity
• Ability to exceed budget through new and existing business development
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record and no DUIs; MVR check required
• The candidate must have reliable transportation that meets the required insurance coverage needs
