Animator/Motion Designer

Location: Hybrid onsite schedule in Cupertino, CA
Duration: 12 months; potential to extend
Pay: ~100/hr, DOE

The Planet Group is looking for an Animator/Motion Designer to join our well-known Fortune 500 client on a 12-month contract, working a hybrid schedule from Cupertino, CA.

Animator/Motion Designer Responsibilities:

• Work with members of the team, as well as engineering, marketing, and QA groups
• Utilize After Effects, Nuke, Maya, Cinema 4D, Octane, Arnold, RedShift render engines to improve consumer software applications for Platform services

Animator/Motion Designer Qualifications:

• 7+ years experience in animation, motion graphics, compositing and 3D
• Strong foundation and understanding of all classic animation principles
• Proficiency in After Effects, Nuke, Maya, Cinema 4D, Octane, Arnold, RedShift render engines
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Highly professional, with the ability to deliver solid work on tight schedules and work independently with little direction
• Effective time management with the ability to spearhead multiple projects and work independently
