Music Teacher

We invite you to join Challenger School Foundation as a Music Teacher. In this role, you will support our proven curriculum by teaching music concepts—rhythm, singing, recognition, interpretation, movement, and dance—to students across multiple grade levels. You will also plan and direct the music for the annual Christmas Sing and Spring Program events.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly learn Challenger’s curriculum, teaching methods, and philosophy.
• Maintain a safe and productive classroom environment.
• Assist teachers in multiple classes with music curriculum and concepts.
• Work patiently with students, parents, and coworkers.

Qualifications

• 2 years of college education or equivalent classical music training, with experience in music, voice, and/or piano.
• Proficiency in piano accompaniment and voice delivery techniques.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Completion of pre‑employment assessments.
