Music Teacher – Store 101

Compensation

• Non‑Teaching Rate: $16.50/hr – $19.90/hr
• Total Teaching Rate (depending on experience): up to $29.70/hr

Role Overview

As a Music Teacher you will teach lessons using the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum, increase student count, and nurture a culture of integrity, inclusion and passion.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with store Lessons Lead to schedule and retain student headcount based on community needs.
• Teach students utilizing the Guitar Center Lessons Curriculum.
• Assist with customer service as needed, building long‑term students by creating a great experience.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Student & Parent Partnership

• Partner with students and families through frequent communication and trust.
• Communicate student progress to parents.
• Share student goals and progress frequently.

Requirements

• Previous experience in Music, Education, or related field.
• Ability to teach the instrument that you are proficient in such as Drums, Guitar, Keyboard, etc.
• Demonstrated competency and proficiency in the area you will be teaching.
