Overview

As a Pharmacy Technician you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry; procuring drugs; and billing. You will carry out your duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, deliver, and restock medications.
• Enter orders and procure drugs.
• Bill pharmacy services.
• Follow written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active applicable state Pharmacy Technician license in good standing.
• Recent work experience as a Pharmacy Technician, ideally in a hospital or outpatient setting.
• Proficiency with pharmacy software.

Preferred Qualifications

• PTCB or CPhT certification.
