24 Seven is hiring: SEO Manager (freelance) in New York

Our client is a Performance Media agency hiring an SEO Manager on a contract capacity for a parental leave. This role would be a great fit for anyone with experience working in a media agency.

Start: October
End: Mid December
Rate: $30-40/hr
Hours per week: 40
Location: Remote or hybrid NYC (must be able to work Eastern hours)

Key Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Developing and executing SEO strategies, including in-depth keyword research and content optimization.
• Analyzing organic search performance and generating insightful reports.
• Identifying and escalating technical SEO issues, staying updated on algorithm changes, including AI ranking developments.
• Collaborating with the Senior Analyst and Paid Search team to ensure alignment and knowledge sharing.
• Managing tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
• 3 -4 years of hands‑on SEO experience.
• Proven track record of driving SEO results through actionable recommendations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized, proactive, and responsive.
• Ability to work independently and remotely.
