Administrative Assistant, Working Title TV

The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for managing the schedules of the Head of Television and VP, Development and liaising with UK-based Executives to manage meetings. This role will be the point of call for the Working Title Television department in the Working Title US Office on the Universal Lot.

Responsibilities

  • Manage schedules for Head of Television and VP, Development.
  • Set meetings internally and externally, including project-specific or general meetings with writers/directors and providing general support for the Creative Executives.
  • Liaise with UK Executive offices to add meetings/calls to diaries and vice versa.
  • Provide front-of-house support when welcoming people for TV meetings.
  • Act as the first point of contact for the Working Title development department on calls and relay messages professionally.
  • Review US executive team calendars daily and prepare meeting materials as needed (e.g., read/watch relevant material).
  • Take minutes in internal departmental meetings and ensure follow-up on action items.
  • Coordinate with Universal International Studios (UIS) regarding weekly and monthly meetings.

Submissions & Creative Materials

  • Support the development team with managing the submissions log.
  • Cover material and writing when assigned, including writing synopses and providing informed feedback.
  • Organize materials to ensure TV and Film development teams can access remotely.
  • Proof new drafts and edit typos using Final Draft.

General Admin / Creative

  • Cover screenings/events as needed and report back on news/reviews relevant to the wider Film and TV departments.
  • Coordinate travel and accommodation for high-profile talent for national/international trips.
  • Arrange exec travel for business trips, events, and on-set visits.
  • Update writers and directors long-lists.
  • Organize and submit executive expenses.
  • Occasional lunch and coffee runs.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an assistant.
  • Strong ability to thrive in a busy, varied creative environment.
  • Previous experience at an agency or buyer is a plus.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of established and emerging talent in Film & TV.
  • Strong organizational skills, confidentiality, and discretion.
  • Interest in Film and Television; wider creative industry interest is welcome.

Additional Requirements

  • On-site: This position is full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.
  • Salary Range: $58,000 - $62,000 (not bonus eligible).
  • Eligible for company-sponsored benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and other discounts).
