About The Team

At CookUnity, the Brand Marketing team is responsible for developing and executing world‑class marketing activations and experiences that drive organic growth through brand awareness and earn loyalty beyond reason. This team sets the vision and strategy for the brand and brings it to life with strategic rigor, creative excellence, and cultural relevance. Through insight‑inspired, data‑led brand storytelling and experiences, CookUnity’s Brand Marketing team will build a category‑defining brand loved by an entire generation of foodies.

Social Media Lead

CookUnity is seeking a creative, enthusiastic, and analytical Social Media Lead to bring breakthrough social media strategies to life. This role will lead the development of impactful social media strategies across owned channels and leverage deep subject‑matter expertise to execute disruptive plans that drive measurable results. The ideal candidate must be a strategic thought leader to make strong recommendations and the right judgement calls with autonomy based on what is best for CookUnity both strategically and creatively. They must be social obsessed, fluent in the language of the internet, and have a track record of building brands and community on social media. A highly cross‑functional discipline in a hyper‑growth company requires being proactive, solution‑oriented, and entrepreneurial.

Responsibilities

  • Set the vision and strategy for CookUnity across key social channels, translating our brand essence into social.
  • Develop innovative, attention‑grabbing strategies and concepts that will drive awareness and engage our audience at the speed of culture.
  • Plan, organize, and execute organic content and assets tailored for social media, leveraging the latest formats and trends to maximize reach and relevance.
  • Post content using best practices and optimization tactics to maximize performance, follower acquisition, and overall audience engagement.
  • Comment, reply, and manage DMs across all active social media channels and emerging channels as integrated into our strategy.
  • Report performance analytics and surface meaningful insights to demonstrate impact, inform future content, and inspire future marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with and empower CookUnity’s chefs as co‑marketers and brand evangelists to extend brand reach and accelerate organic growth.
  • Partner with creative teams and key stakeholders to capture organic, social‑first content at all major shoots, events, and activations.
  • Support thought leadership content development, posting, and engagement on priority social channels for the founder and select executives.
  • Collaborate closely with the paid social team to create a cohesive brand presence and highly effective acquisition engine, driving continued growth of organic social attributed customers.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in high‑growth premium consumer and/or technology brands.
  • Hands‑on experience in social media management, strategy development, planning, and rigorous analysis and insight development.
  • Proficient in the nuances of social content creation and know the specs, native features, best practices, hacks, and tricks to producing high‑quality, high‑performing content.
  • Proven track record leading social‑first campaigns and scalable content series that deliver creative excellence and measurable business impact.
  • Ability to proactively create solutions by digging into challenges and opportunities, breaking down complex problems and forming hypotheses and proposals with limited information.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects, initiatives, or programs simultaneously, effectively prioritizing focus to drive maximum impact in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
  • Proficient in relevant creative software for photo and video editing, social scheduling, and social data monitoring and analytics.
  • Excited to be on‑the‑go and willing to travel locally and otherwise to capture timely, relevant content live and IRL.
  • Extremely detail‑oriented and obsessed with delivering next‑level digital experiences.

Compensation

  • All final pay rates will be determined by the candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
  • Pay Range for this position: $110,000 - $120,000 per year.
