Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bedford, NH, for a data-driven, analytical Marketing Assistant. We are seeking a well-organized, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy individual to join and provide marketing support to our team. You will work directly with our operations manager to implement our marketing plan in coordination with our marketing consultant vendor. The ideal candidate will play a key role in increasing the number of qualified prospects into our pipeline and improving our brand awareness as well as contributing to the overall success of the team.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the firm’s marketing plan to increase the flow of qualified prospects to the firm in the four (and growing) primary geographic areas.
- Manage firm’s brand awareness among population of target clients in preferred geographic areas through social media, print ads, awards, signage, sponsorships, events, radio ads, etc.
- Manage the relationship with the firm’s external marketing consultant who helps with SEO, website management, weekly content and LinkedIn.
- Manage annual marketing budget that aligns the marketing strategy with the firm’s objectives for direct marketing, sponsorship, and client educational content,
- Manage the firm’s website to include posting new blog content, videos, updating employee biographies, setting up links for event signup
- Manage Google console and analytics for the firm to optimize our exposure
- Run Zoom for our monthly webinars that are written and presented by others
- Oversee and coordinate existing weekly published content (written by the planning team) to include blogs, market reviews, Milestone Minute, quarterly reviews and other direct communication to clients and prospects. Manage content distribution lists.
- Ensure compliance with the Securities and Exchange Commission Registered Investment Advisor Marketing Rule.
- Expand the reach of our YouTube channel and make sure all video content is posted and optimized.
- Edit existing video content to make video shorts for social media
- Manage social media campaigns and profiles for firm and advisors on Linked‑In, Facebook, Instagram, etc.
- Coordinate and update advisor bios between social media accounts, website and external lead generation websites.
- Manage Google ads, Google reviews, ChatGPT (and other AI chatbots) to increase the number and quality of prospects contacting the firm directly, within compliance guidelines applicable to our industry
- Manage printed ads in firm’s four+ geographic target areas
- Coordinate relationships with Chambers of Commerce in the firm’s four primary geographic areas. Utilize chambers for brand awareness, networking, direct marketing and event sponsorship.
- Execute client education webinars to include arranging the presenters, marketing the event to clients and prospects, creating the presentation collateral, and managing the presentation using the preferred online communication platform
- Attend financial planning and investment management industry events related to marketing and business development
- Coordinate firm’s sponsorships to include choosing suitable events, coordinating logistics and attending events on behalf of firm
- Supervise interns that support the marketing efforts of the firm
- Coordinate summer and holiday internal team building events
- Coordinate annual holiday card, individual and team photographs
- Coordinate charitable endeavors for firm, to include charitable donations from firm to charities that empower women and children and coordinating volunteer work events for firm’s team members
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing
- Google ad and SEO / keyword research experience. Semrush experience helpful!
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook. Sharepoint experience a plus.
- Demonstrates a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
- Speak and write clearly and effectively and can tailor communication style and message to the purpose and audience.
- Effectively manage time and tasks by identifying priorities and adjusting as needed.
- Consistently demonstrate a positive and professional image.
- A team player who communicates clearly and professionally.
- Work experience helpful but not required.
- Must pass a background check.

Pay and benefits
The position pays $52,800 per year, $2,200/pay period twice per month plus participation in our profit sharing bonus pool, which historically adds 5‑20% to your compensation, based on your performance (entirely tied to increasing the number of qualified prospect leads that come in to our pipeline).
