Tenure Track Assistant Professor, Music Theatre West Hartford, CT | Full-Time | $68,000 - $70,000 / year | Start August 2026 About the Role We invite applications for a full-time, tenure track Assistant Professor of Musical Theatre beginning August 2026. The next Assistant Professor of Musical Theatre will have demonstrated excellence in teaching acting to students in undergraduate Musical Theatre programs. Qualifications Must have a Master of Fine Arts (MFA), terminal degree, in Musical Theatre/Performance at the time of appointment or a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Musical Theatre/Performance or significant national/international professional performing credits as a performer and director in Musical Theatre. Experience and/or interest in developing new works in theatre preferred. Experience as a director and/or music director in musical theatre desired.
