Interior Designer – Actalent (Contract to Hire, Baltimore, MD) – Apply by Oct 23, 2025 Job Description This role supports the Interiors Studio in all phases of project development, from conceptual design to construction documents and administration. The focus is on Senior Living and other Institutional Projects. Key responsibilities include FF&E selection, client management, and project management, ensuring quality control and compliance. Responsibilities Lead the production of deliverable documents through Schematic Design, Development Design, Construction Documentation, and Construction Administration phases. Manage FF&E selection. Provide daily client and project management. Review documents for quality control evaluations and ensure ongoing compliance. Lead a team to develop design drawings, technical documentation, and construction administration phase documents. Essential Skills Proficiency in Revit. Experience in architecture, with a focus on senior living, commercial, and mixed-use projects. Project leadership and documentation coordination skills. Strong presentation, organizational, and communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Degree in Interior Design or Architecture. Ability to work effectively in a team setting. Graphic skills and software knowledge in SketchUp, InDesign, and Photoshop. Production-level candidates with 3+ years of experience are welcome. Work Environment The Interiors team is located in a five-studio, class‑A office on the 18th floor of 100 N Charles Tower in Baltimore. Employees are encouraged to work in the office four days a week with one hybrid day. Typical work hours are 9‑6 or 8‑5, with a preference to start at 8 or 8:30. Projects include corporate headquarters, restaurant chains, hospitality, and multi‑family developments. Job Type & Location Contract to Hire – Baltimore, Maryland Pay And Benefits Hourly pay range: $24.00 – $28.00/hr. Benefits may vary by job classification and length of employment.
