Minimum Position Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and one (1) year of collegiate or professional-level videography experience.
Authorized to work in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship.
Special Conditions
The department is especially interested in candidates who have experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
Work Schedule
Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Must be able to work a non‑standard work week when necessary, which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and traveling with the team(s).
Working Conditions
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to stand; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Duties & Responsibilities
Creates video content and motion graphics for use on the athletic department’s social media, website, and arena video boards.
Work with all sports including football, men’s and women’s basketball with a primary and secondary sport responsibility to be determined.
Produce hype videos, athlete features, promotional/marketing materials, and paid elements designed to engage fans, recruits, stakeholders, and sponsors.
Keep up with current trends in athletic digital content production and distribution.
Video interview footage for projects as needed for Athletics Development, Tiger Sports Properties, and the University of Memphis Athletics for Diversity & Equality (UMADE).
Oversee all phases of each project and videos of various athletic events.
Collaborate with the communications department on social media strategies and content generation.
Post highlights and content from various sports to the American Athletic Conference video exchange, GoTigersGo.com, and the Memphis Athletics social media platforms.
Act as a liaison with the American Athletic Conference (American Digital Network) and work with ESPN+ media partner/production crew or other outside broadcast networks in gathering content for broadcasts.
Responsible for the hiring, development, and evaluation of a student/internship program.
Perform other duties as assigned.
