Job Description Nemours Children’s Health has launched a bold strategy to redefine children’s health and create the healthiest generations of children. As a Social Media Program Manager you will manage and expand the online presence of our executive leadership team and physician leadership social media pages, especially on LinkedIn and X. The primary function is to develop and execute engaging content that promotes Nemours Children’s mission, showcases thought leadership, and elevates the Nemours brand on leaders’ personal channels and Nemours brand channels. Through strategic planning, you will increase brand awareness and drive engagement across key social media platforms.

This is a hybrid position. While many days can be performed virtually, on‑site support is required for photo and video shoots, meetings with executives and physicians, and other in‑person activities as needed.

Essential Functions

Thought Leadership Promotion: Position Nemours executives and physicians as thought leaders in the pediatric healthcare space. Identify opportunities to showcase their expertise through insightful articles, industry trends, and research findings.

Content Strategy: Collaborate with executive and physician leadership teams to develop a comprehensive content strategy for LinkedIn and X. Align the strategy with Nemours Children’s brand guidelines and social media objectives to ensure consistent messaging and optimal engagement.

Content Creation and Curation: Create compelling and informative content that elevates Nemours leaders’ expertise. Write engaging social media posts and curate relevant articles, videos, and other multimedia from internal and external sources.

Social Media Management: Facilitate content delivery and monitoring for Nemours executive leadership and physician social media accounts on LinkedIn and X using Sprout Social. Publish content, monitor engagement, respond to comments and messages, and proactively engage with followers and key influencers.

Analytics and Reporting: Monitor social media performance using Sprout Social and generate regular reports to measure impact. Use data‑driven insights to optimize content strategies and improve engagement and reach.

Brand Consistency and Compliance: Ensure all content aligns with Nemours Children’s brand standards and values. Adhere to regulatory guidelines such as HIPAA when handling patient‑related content or sensitive information.

Collaboration and Relationship Building: Work with cross‑functional teams to ensure cohesive messaging and integrated marketing. Build relationships with stakeholders, executive leadership, physicians, and external partners to gather content insights and support.

Non‑Essential Functions

Build relationships with C‑suite executives and colleagues at all levels.

Align social media initiatives with the unique voice of each executive.

Collaborate with enterprise teams across Marketing & Communications, the Office of the President, the National Office, and other stakeholders.

Stay current on social media trends, healthcare issues, and technology opportunities.

Exhibit rigorous organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast‑paced environment.

Identify issues and develop effective solutions using data and intuition.

Requirements Bachelor’s Degree.

Five or more years of experience in social media management or related field.
